CSP: A Cost-Aware Ship Proportioning Algorithm Based on Operation Process Simulation

Inland waterway dredging is daily maintenance which undertaken to ensure the safe navigation of ships. Due limitations river width, bridge height, and other conditions, projects usually require different types ships, namely dredgers, mud-carrying mud-blowing ships work in cooperation with each other. The proportion these three affects cost operation efficiency. Most existing algorithms calculate ship according operating speeds without considering influence locks on waterways. In this paper, we propose a cost-aware proportioning (CSP) algorithm based process simulation. premise save by making full use First, establish model simulate locks. Furthermore, utilize simulation obtain optimal that has lowest through loop iterations. addition, quantify relationship between opening time project cost. We evaluate effectiveness CSP terms real engineering data. experiment results show significantly outperforms baseline.
